Intern Search

September 24th, 2007 by chris

Hey, everyone!

Intern SearchAnswers for Freelancers! is looking for the world’s first virtual podcast intern to join our ranks.

We’re not locked into what duties you will perform, so there are a lot of possibilities here. If you’re a student and your field of study leads you into social media, digital audio, art, design, illustration, writing, journalism or some other facet of podcast production, we’d love to hear from you.
To be considered you must:

  • Be a current student.
  • Send us links to your space(s) - Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, blog, etc.
  • Email us an audio piece of up to 5 minutes. It can be an interview, a report, a tutorial or something entirely different.
  • Need to have the tools to accomplish whatever you are applying for and access to the internet so that you can work with us.
  • Email us your resume and audio file in MP3 format to Answersforfreelancers@gmail.com (you can also post it to the internet and send us a link).

If you need actual college credit for the internship, don’t forget to send us your college’s paperwork and we’ll see if we qualify.

We look forward to hearing from you!

The site renders well in Safari, Firefox, Camino and other web browsers, but not IE. Here’s a piece of advice that you can see repeated all over the web. If you are running Windows, install and use Firefox. Its a better browser in many ways, and much more secure than IE. Its not perfect protection, but any help against viruses should be welcome. Looks like I’ll have a bit more work there. The second is our RSS feed. If you subscribed to our show directly from our old site, you’ll need to subscribe again, since the old feed won’t be updated anymore. If you subscribed through iTunes or some of the other directories, though, you should be OK. Also, you may notice that you get all of our old shows duplicated in your podcatcher. That’s a known side effect of moving your feed the way we just did. Sorry. Couldn’t be helped. Just go ahead and delete the duplicate entries.

So, if you need to resubscribe, our new feeds are located at:

Hey, its Chris. Some of you may or may not know it, but I’m a big fan of of Dennis Gray’s podcast 101 Uses for Babywipes, a podcast about parenting, but from a father’s point of view.
